The spine, "the string of pearls", is explored in depth. It's an intense class, so please proceed with caution.

Focus poses and explorations: integrated exploration and movement of the spine-- forearm balance (pincha mayruasana)-- many support poses leading to urdhva dhanurasana (upward bow) and dwi pada viparita dandasana (upward facing two-foot staff pose)

Focus poses and explorations: accessing the bandhas through breathing and releasing in poses like prasarita padottanasana and supta virasana-- lovely viloma pranayama at the beginning-- undoing muscle patterns in savasana

Focus poses and explorations: deep belly work and a wonderful abdominal sequence including navasana at the end of class-- interesting locust pose variations which are later mirrored in narajasana (dancer pose)-- attention to breath and bandhas throughout
